Report All Cases to WSIB

All workers who believe they were exposed to Covid-19 from work, should fill out a Worker's Exposure Incident Form 3958A

If a worker contracts Covid-19 in the course of their work, you need to file a claim for occupational illness with WSIB on Form 6 .

Workers should first record their exposure using the TVDSB Accident Incident Reporting Form. Reporting is imperative so that any need for further protections can be identified and to protect workers who might later experience Covid-19 related symptoms.

PLDF / Professional Learning Development Fund

We have received applications lately from TVOT members who have already completed their courses. Much like any application for any subsidy, the information submitted needs to be reviewed and approved before funding can be considered, as stipulated in bold print on the PLDF application form. Also for budgetary purposes, funds need to be set aside for those who have been approved.
We suggest that members send in their completed applications when they register for a course and include the receipt of payment. This will be submitted for review and the member will receive notification upon approval. Once completed, all we require is confirmation of successful completion, by way of a letter or certificate.
For questions related to this program or our $50 Book Rebate (May 31st deadline), email us at mail@etfotvot.com   or call the TVOT Office at 519-641-336.
