There have been some cancellations for tomorrow's TVOT Spring Annual Meeting so if you are now available to attend but have not yet registered, please contact us immediately at 519-641-3936 or by email at mail@etfotvot.com. 

The meeting is being held at the Lamplighter Inn in London and begins at 4:30 PM. 

Enjoy a lovely dinner with your colleagues and perhaps win one of three $100 gift cards!

All who register and attend will receive $15 to assist with transportation costs.

The deadline for TVOT members to submit applications for their $75 Resource Rebate is May 31st. Books or professional resources purchased within the last 60 days which are related to your elementary professional needs, are eligible.    

To access the application form, log into the TVOT Local website www.etfotvot.com as you must first set up an account with the Local.

1) LOST PREP PERIODS -TVOT Occasional Teachers/LTOs are reminded to keep a record of the dates and number of minutes lost of any scheduled prep periods that they are denied. This violates our Collective Agreement and the Local believes there should be compensation for such lost time.

2) OFFENCE DECLARATION - Completion is mandatory for all TVDSB Employees. Log into the Employee Portal and you will find it under "Annual Health and Safety Training" > Offence Declaration.

May 31st is a PD day, so daily OTs and those in LTOs of .5 or less can participate in half-day PD sessions and be paid as if they were teaching.
