LTO PAY
UPDATE
The Board has reached out to
say they hope to have LTO forms processed for the Oct. 16th, 2026
pay. They had a vacancy in OT staffing and are trying to catch up. I will be
discussing the impact on Occasional Teachers. Many of you expressed concerns of:
no notice, impact on budgeting, tax, access to sick leave, access to software,
etc.
Many LTOs were posted as contracts during
reorg. Were you given notice for an end
date of for your LTO? If you feel you were not given any end date notice please

These TVDSB Offerings have been added to the registration portal under the elementary/dual occasional teacher PD 2026-2027 conference.
In-person at Prince Charles AM (9:00 - 11:30am) and PM (1:00 - 3:30 pm).

The main focus of this session is to provide OTs with a better understanding of
how to support students in an FSL classroom. Together, we will explore
practical ways to engage students, interact with them, and incorporate French
in authentic and meaningful ways, even if you are at the beginning stages of
your own French language learning journey. Please note that this session is a
repeat of the 2025-2026 offering.
